OUR VETERINARIANS

Meet the folks who make it all happen. We see big potential in every moment, & care deeply about what we do every day.

Dr. Tina Roggenbeck

Veterinarian/Co-owner of VHC

Dr. Roggenbeck didn’t initially set out to become a veterinarian. In fact, it is actually her second career. That’s not to say it’s not her calling – a fact that her many awards and the countless clients she has served over the years provide ample testament to.

Dr. Roggenbeck graduated from Michigan State University – College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2001. In addition to her professional career as a practicing vet, she also started a non-profit organization for homeless animals. In 2013, she was named Humanitarian of the Year by the Humane Society of Bay County and in 2014, America’s Favorite Veterinarian listed her among the top 10 in the nation. She would go on to take the national title just a year later. Professionally, she is inspired every time she looks into the eyes of an animal in need.

Outside of work, Dr. Roggenbeck is married to her BFF. Together, they have a small zoo of their own, including two German shepherds, a paint horse and a slew of rescue cats.

Dr. Genevieve Hoffman

Veterinarian

There are various reasons why veterinarians choose to enter the world of animals. For Dr. Genevieve, the reason is simple – she wanted to connect not only with patients, but also with clients. As a veterinarian at Veterinary Health Center, she relishes the opportunity to help animals bond with their humans!

Dr. Genevieve’s journey began as a young girl in Hemlock, MI, where she raised dogs, cats and rabbits. She was always curious as to why pets develop the problems they do, and finding out ways to help make them feel better.

Dr. Genevieve would go on to attend Michigan State University, where she would complete her pre-veterinary courses, and then graduate from the school’s veterinary program.

Currently, Dr. Genevieve’s pets include her Golden Retriever named Cooper, her cat, Auburn, and her rabbit, Coriander. In her free time she enjoys taking exciting kayaking trips with her family, and always looks forward to camping up north during the summer months!
