Beds

As far as Fluffy is concerned, there’s just no such thing as too many beds. Kitties spend a ridiculous amount of time—up to 20 hours a day—napping. For a super-easy option, just put a pillow or a soft folded blanket in a box or basket. If you want to go a bit further, you can make something. This is a good way to repurpose an old sweater.

Cat Towers

Cat towers may very well be Fluffy’s favorite piece of furniture. Window Seats

Cats are much safer staying indoors. Fluffy is very small and vulnerable, and is at risk from a whole slew of threats, including cars, weather, chemicals, and wild animals. However, she will enjoy sitting in the window, sunbathing and daydreaming about hunting. You can go the easy route here and just use a smooth board to widen out your windowsill. Or, install a sturdier structure.

Pet Tents

Kitties often love being in small, enclosed places. Fluffy just naturally feels safer in secure spots. You can make your furry friend a pet tent out of an old tee shirt and a wire hanger.

Box Castles

Want to really please your feline overlord? Make her a box castle! We all know that kitties just can’t resist boxes. Fluffy’s palace can be as simple or elaborate as you want. It’s also a fun rainy day project for kids.
